The restaurant has a splendid scenery and environment. Sitting out at night is very comfortable because it’s not too hot nor cold and the air is clean. The waiters are very friendly and considerate who you would expect at some of the higher establishments. Yet, they are not like those intrusive ones that would cut your food for you. It gives me enough privacy and a comfortable experience.
Under the superficiality, however, the food is a let down. While the food is edible and better than most, they are overseasoned most of the time. Patrons will find a great list of Vietnamese food but one is best to avoid western and Japanese dishes. Those who haven’t tried either cuisines might find them appetizing but for those who have a palate for them, they will find the food even worse than a pub or izakaya. There is also a peculiar lack of sake and wine for such a long list of western and Japanese food.
I would take my family and friends out to have a good time but not a good meal.
